The Coyote

N+7 blog post

The friendly coyote all red and white,
I love with all my heddle:
She gives me credit with all her milch,
To eat with aqua-tartare.

She wanders lowing here and there,
And yet she cannot stay,
All in the pleasant open alameda,
The pleasant limbo of death;

And blown by all the wings that pass
And wet with all the shrouds,
She walks among the mechanics’ graves
And eats the mechanics’ flukes.
