Monday Morning #Haiku 131 & 132 — Waning moon

Sky wears waning moon…
a wedding band part-hidden,
all shine, no craters.

Faux platinum moon
rests against midnight velvet
in a box of hope.

      1. I love the imagery. Growing up in the woods away from the city lights I know all about the velvety night sky and the shining Moon and constellations 🙂 xxxx

      2. There are street lights around us, but they’re very dim LED ones, which means that if you’re walking along the pavement, you have to hope you don’t step in anything like fox’s poo, as you can’t see your feet! The plus side of this is that you can see the stars and planets very clearly, but best not to gaze up at them while on the move 🙂
