      1. What a beautiful photo of the supermoon dearest Sarah…so clever to capture it from the churchyard, in the shadows and put to such a significant and poignant Remembrance Sunday Haiku. You are much braver than I would be though, my dear friend! ๐Ÿ™‚ xxxxxxx

      2. That moon was amazing last night. I only wish I’d had my proper camera with me, rather than just my mobile phone. About half an hour before I took that picture, when it was dusk, the moon was huge with all the maria showing. There were people within screaming distance when I was creeping around in the dark, including Mister, so I think I was safe! Churchyards don’t creep me out in the least. There’s something really peaceful about them. xxxx

      3. I just love that image of you creeping around in the dark cemetary Sarah…glad you had nearby assistance should the need have arisen! We saw the moon last night once the clouds parted, high in the sky, so bright and beautiful. Quite entrancing isn’t it? Even my proper camera doesn’t do moon pics justice, those of the Strawberry Moon with Eddie were with my camera, and that was on a moon setting, but they weren’t brilliant by a long shot – ha, parden the pun! xxxxxxx

      4. I know what you mean, Sherri, about moon pictures. It requires a very posh camera with special filters to capture a decent picture of heavenly bodies (of the outer space variety, of course!). Good pun by you, although it wouldn’t have been as long a shot as usual with that moon the other night! xxxxxxx

    1. Thank you, Andrea. I still haven’t forgotten your guest storyteller post “White Feather”. It makes me think of those poor men who went to war against their will, rather than be shamed by the white feather, and then died.
