crow contemplates his kingdom:
plans his next flight path.

Thank you. He sat there for ages, not in the least perturbed by me moving closer and closer to his tree, pointing my camera up at him. In fact, I got the feeling he rather likes photo-shoot sessions!

Maybe he’s a secret model wannabe!

Oooh, love this Sarah! Must show Claire, she will love it! She is obsessed with crows, has always adored them and this fellow here is particularly handsome. Love your haiku too, perfect 🙂 xxxx

I share Claire’s obsession with crows. Also, I love jackdaws. There are quite a few of photos of both birds in other blog posts if you do a search. Am so glad, Sherri, that you loved my crow haiku 🙂 xxxx

Will do! And I must tell you about Claire’s stuffed crow…his name is Jon Crow, ha! xxxx

Presumably that’s Claire’s take on Jon Snow in “Game of Thrones” — cute guy — but am hoping that he doesn’t end up stuffed, too. (Don’t tell me, as I haven’t watched the final two episodes of Season 5 and it wasn’t looking good for him in the last episode I saw). xxxx

They do seem like they’re king or queen of all they survey, I love crows.

I love crows, too 🙂 Sometimes I talk to them in their language “Crowlese” (as I call it) and they answer back. It is always good to treat them with respect, as the crow grapevine is reputed to extend over a long distance. If you’re rude to one crow, all the others will get to hear of it and blacklist you forever.
