Wish we only had a “dusting”… It’s bitterly cold here (windchill of -35C) and on top of that it is snowing – not that pretty big-flake kind of snow, the little blowing, pinch your cheeks kind!
Thanks, Dale 🙂 Brrrr, -35C is freezing, although I remember some of my mother’s friends who used come over to visit from Sweden saying that they felt much colder in England than in their country, as they were used to dry cold rather than our dampness.
Ahh…I wondered if you would get some snow your way. We’ve not had any, just a heavy frost this morning so it was quite white but not like this. Lovely capture Sarah, I do love snow pics 🙂
It’s a daily habit of mine to go out into the garden at dawn, dressed in my nightclothes and wellies. I love the peace and freshness of that time of day.
I wear a puffer jacket over my dressing gown, or two dressing gowns. Nobody can see me at that time of the morning, other than my dog and she just accepts all my eccentricities as normal. There are often interesting things to photograph at that time of the day, so who cares about fashion?
Mostly rain for us, too. But that’s because I bought some snow boots! Fortunately, they work well in mud and rain, to prevent one from slipping over. It’s trying to snow today, but without much success.

That glaze in my picture is the sum total of snow this year. I live in one of the mildest places in the UK. We even have palm trees growing and my begonias have survived the frost for two winters running.

For sure…there are -15C days that feel colder than -30C…all depends on the humidity!

The birds may be trying to get warm and so that’s why they’re quiet? No snow here, we’re pretty mild where I live.
