River near Quarr Abbey

Midsummer river
moves at leisure through woodland,
its waters dappled.

    1. I discovered that peaceful dappled river on a walk through the woods with my daughter, when we were on our way to Quarr Abbey, heading for that wonderful cream tea with mega-scones. It was a perfect outing.
