moves at leisure through woodland,
its waters dappled.

dappled dreamy Sarah!! Love it!
I discovered that peaceful dappled river on a walk through the woods with my daughter, when we were on our way to Quarr Abbey, heading for that wonderful cream tea with mega-scones. It was a perfect outing.
Brief but so powerful. Great poetic images.
Best wishes, Aquileana 😀
Thank you so much, Aquileana, and good wishes to you, too 🙂
sounds like a slow and sleepy summer day~
It was perfect as, for once, I wasn’t under any pressure to hurry 🙂
