Lush vegetation
Snails still hibernating
No holes in leaves yet

How something so “cute” – if you’ve seen Vyacheslav’s photos http://www.vmishchenko.com/#gallery-Snails – could cause such devastation in a garden…

I think snails are quite attractive looking with their houses on their backs, but I don’t like their slime or their voracious appetites.
Thanks for the link, Dale. They’re excellent photos. My favourite one is of the snail giving those raspberries the eye.

That was funny! No worries – you saw the error of your ways before I did! 😉 This photographer kills me with his photos.
But yeah, keep ’em away from MY garden! 😉

PS Apologies, Dale, I called you Sylvia just now in a comment (but have now edited it). I do this to my friends all the time, muddling up their names. The other thing I do is to forget their names altogether when making introductions. It’s so embarrassing and is a dead giveaway as to my age!

But for how long? Those leaves look quite luscious. 🙂

Ha! Yes, quite lushious…but where are those pesky slugs indeed? Let’s hope they are not as prolific as last year! Lovely Haiku and photo Sarah 🙂

Don’t even mention slugs, Sherri. Snails are quite enough. Come to think of it, I’ve not seen a slug on this particular plant, but perhaps they’re more sneaky than those brazen snails!
