#Tanka 55 — Tangled Ivy

An ivy-choked tree
symbolic of these strange times.
Sink into the earth
or focus on the blue sky.
Go!Tunnel through the tangle.

  1. Busy week for me, dear friend. Total hip replacement surgery coming up on Thursday. But I wanted to take a moment to say welcome back. You’ve been missed. I hope this finds you well and happy.

Hugs coming your way from the U.S.

    1. All the best for your hip replacement, dear Bill, and plenty of good wishes for a speedy recovery. Thank you for welcoming me back so warmly. I’m fairly well, although not quite as energetic as I was before all those vaccines, but still better than being dead! Happiness has been a bit intermittent for me over the last year, but still possible. And I have missed my lovely blogging friends.
Hugs to you, too, from the UK.

  2. A powerful exhortation for every day! Hoping you’re staying in good tangle-wrangling shape.
