    1. Hee, hee 🙂 I couldn’t resist that poem! Last week I went to a local garden to take a whole load of seasonal pictures, but ended up mostly taking shots of strange tree trunks and reading things into them. It was great fun.

      1. I love your sense of humour! And I would have written some sort of comment, had it been me… your Haiku was a step above 🙂

    1. Hello, dear Inese. I disappeared for a month, so have only just seen your comment. I’m pleased the tree buttocks amused you 🙂 Wishing you a happy New Year, and I hope to be back to blogging again soon xxxx

    1. I have many more tree pictures worthy of personification. Indeed, I will thank Dale for your visit, and thank you to you, too 🙂 I’m only just signed into WP after a few weeks off, so need to catch up with responding to comments and visiting other blogs.

  2. Over from Dale’s. Congratulations on being her Advent Honoree. …. This Haiku made me laugh … so well done, and to be motivated by something simple and natural is perfect – and then support it with a pic!

    1. I’m certainly most honoured, and Dale is being so patient with me as I’ve done a bit of a disappearing act throughout Advent. Maybe she thought to flush me out of hiding by showing me that I might be out of sight but not out of mind. I’m glad that my Haiku made you laugh. Often there’s much inspiration to be found in things that are simple and natural 🙂

      1. Cheers for the flushing out. 🙂 Better yet, I appreciate the way you responded to me – a total stranger. Also cheers to your wit and welcoming nature.
