This is my last post until the beginning of November, as I need to take a month off from blogging to concentrate on doing an intensive edit of the offbeat satirical novel I began in National Novel Writing Month 2017.

To keep me focused upon achieving my goal, I’ve agreed to do a beta-reading swap with two other novelists in November.

I’ll try to visit as many of your blogs as I can before the end of October.

Love and best wishes to you all x

  1. A nice accomplishment for sure, 200 weeks. A job well-done!

Best wishes, dear friend, on that novel. I love your dedication to it, the single-minded approach to it….as they say on Broadway, break a leg! ๐Ÿ™‚

    1. Thank you, my dear friend for your words of encouragement ๐Ÿ™‚ I’m struggling to be single-minded at the moment, so have had to do something radical about it!

By the way, if you happened to have received two email notifications of this post, it’s because the beta version of the Gutenberg editor did something most unfriendly to my first post and I had to take it down. I’d set out my three haiku as I wanted them, three lines of each, and previewed the post — all okay — then I pressed “publish” and they were displayed in one long line for each. In the end, I published them as captions attached to the photo. But I have another idea for future, which is to save the three lines as a jpeg. Meanwhile, I will grumble to WP about it, whilst things are still in the beta stage of development. It’s all very time-wasting and extra work.

    1. I’m hoping to be around for a short chat with you and Rochelle this week, but am not sure how you’re both placed tomorrow. I would only be able to do about an hour, as I have to make an early tea. I was going to suggest Friday, but am now going to visit a friend in hospital who’s had a stroke. I’ll check with Rochelle how she’s fixed for tomorrow, too.

      1. Around 14.00 hours my time would be great. I think that you and Rochelle are both 5 hours behind me at the moment. Is that right? According to my international clock app it says you are on the same time, anyway, but I thought there was meant to be a one-hour difference between the two of you. Am confused…

    1. Thank you, so much, Cybele ๐Ÿ™‚ I know, I’ve only just replied to this comment. Very behind and have been notable in my absence since that post. All is explained in my latest post. One day life will settle into some kind of equilibrium — I hope.

    1. Thanks, Inese ๐Ÿ™‚ I must get writing some more haiku. My brain has been in such a frazzle that I’ve not even been capable of meditating the necessary 17 syllables. Nor have I been as active with my camera.

      1. He’s worthy of it ๐Ÿ™‚ Very eccentric and characterful, although sometimes a bit too strong-minded for his own good but has mellowed with age! We’re the best of friends, which is so important.
