  1. I so enjoy your haikus put to photos. You find wonderful moments of creativity all around you dearest Sarah 🙂 It must be pigeon season, I have a pair who seem to have take a liking to my garden too! xxxx

    1. Doubtless your garden soil is as soft and mushy as mine is, Sherri! I do love watching the birds going about their business. The seagulls have been very noisy today.
Yesterday evening, I saw my first fox cub of the year. It was very confused, running in front of my car and then doubling back and disappearing off over a garden wall. I hope it’s a quick learner re survival skills — although the pigeons would probably prefer a few less foxes in the world. xxxx

      1. Oh yes, it definitely is Sarah! Did I tell you we have seagulls here in Yeovil, despite being some 30 mins or so from the sea? They love the airfields from Augusta Westlands for some reason and also love to poop on my car at certain parking places, which isn’t good news on black, ha! Oh Sarah…a fox cub? How delightful!! Yes, agreed, the pigeons will have to be a bit more careful from now on 🙂 xxxx

      2. Sherri, that is a long way inland for seagulls, although I think they’ll venture that far if bad weather is on the way. They love my blue car, too, usually after I’ve given it its once every 6 months wash! Talk about discouraging.

      3. Yes, it’s so strange, but it’s always been that way here and nobody seems to know why. I keep thinking I’m back in Brighton hearing them all 😉 Yes, they seem to know when a car’s just been washed don’t they? Have shared your Goodreads Giveaway on Twitter 🙂 xxxx

      4. Thanks for sharing that, Sherri. I think it’s going quite well, considering it’s only in its 2nd day — well, I hope it is. Am not sure what the usual number of entries are for people in the first 24 hours or so. Fingers crossed it’s good, although I spend most of the time feeling as if I’m swimming in the dark where marketing is concerned. xxxx
