Monday Morning #Haiku 89 — Snowflakes

January snowfall (nighttime)

Cushioned by night hush,
hear the ploff of snow falling
in time with your heart.

    1. Ploff is a word invented by one of my oddest fictional characters called Ferdinand. You’ve not met him yet, as he’s in my speculative fiction novel Counting Magpies, not yet published.

And thank you so much, Andrea, for that wonderful review of Desiccation, plus the 5 stars. I went to bed a very happy person last night 🙂

  1. Oh dearest Sarah, you had snow! I wish we had, but only frost. White at least. The boys said they had some in Brighton, so makes sense. Love the word ‘ploff’. It’s superb and I know just what you mean 🙂 xxxx
