Monday Morning #Haiku 80 — Autumn Leaves (01)

Virginia Creeper leaves on Grass

Leaves shout their colours.
Flushed, they demand attention,
dying in glory.

  1. That’s one thing about the Northern Hemisphere – the Autumn colours – not something we see all that much this side.
Beautiful photo Sarah, and well put – dying in glory indeed…

  2. Such a beautiful haiku dearest Sarah, you are so good at these, and you always find the perfect, seasonal photograph. Just lovely. Thinking of you… hugs… xxxx

    1. Thank you, dearest Sherri. I’m in danger of running out of photos as I’ve been lurking indoors too much, concentrating on the “big project”. Must go somewhere interesting with my camera soon! Maybe we should try to meet up when you said. The New Year seems miles off, but then you’re doing your big project, too, so maybe we should wait. Hugs to you, too xxxx

      1. Hope it’s all going well dearest Sarah. I’m still keeping those dates open, so let me know. It does seem a long way off doesn’t it to wait…have a think and let me know… More hugs in the meantime! 🙂 xxxx

      2. That’s a perfect analogy Sarah (you are such a great writer!). Must be the same clothing that the time gobbling monster wears 😉 Got your emails, many thanks, so sorry I didn’t get a chance to reply over the weekend, will do later today…and I hope you have a good November Monday dearest Sarah 🙂 xxxx

    1. I noticed this morning how the trees have changed overnight in the woods. It is unseasonably warm here, though. My begonias, geraniums, and ox-eyed daisies are still going strong, and not a sign of frost yet.
