Monday Morning #Haiku 71 — Crow (01)

Crow in Treetop

From topmost branches,
crow contemplates his kingdom:
plans his next flight path.

  1. Oooh, love this Sarah! Must show Claire, she will love it! She is obsessed with crows, has always adored them and this fellow here is particularly handsome. Love your haiku too, perfect 🙂 xxxx

    1. I share Claire’s obsession with crows. Also, I love jackdaws. There are quite a few of photos of both birds in other blog posts if you do a search. Am so glad, Sherri, that you loved my crow haiku 🙂 xxxx

      1. Presumably that’s Claire’s take on Jon Snow in “Game of Thrones” — cute guy — but am hoping that he doesn’t end up stuffed, too. (Don’t tell me, as I haven’t watched the final two episodes of Season 5 and it wasn’t looking good for him in the last episode I saw). xxxx

    1. I love crows, too 🙂 Sometimes I talk to them in their language “Crowlese” (as I call it) and they answer back. It is always good to treat them with respect, as the crow grapevine is reputed to extend over a long distance. If you’re rude to one crow, all the others will get to hear of it and blacklist you forever.
