      1. She is a sweetie, but the poor girl has been quite poorly this week due to some infection she picked up from those confounded foxes. I had to take her to see the out-of-hours vet as an emergency in the middle of the night (a half hour drive). She had to have a full set of blood tests, and two hefty injections — one of them an antibiotic and the other to stop her vomiting as she was very dehydrated with her electrolytes all over the place. Gladly, she’s recovering well and is looking forward to some chicken with rice and olive oil for her tea, following her spoonful of yoghurt for lunch — all on the vet’s recommendation!

      2. Oh the poor thing! Awful when our pets, members of our family, are ill like that. I hope she does have a good appetite to get better soon! xo

      3. Thank you 🙂 It was a joy to watch her eating that chicken and rice dinner. She brought me a toy afterwards, to say thank you. Then she tried to wrestle with an attachment on my vacuum cleaner, so I knew she was feeling better!

  1. Oh Sarah, such a sweet photo…a paid up member I would say 🙂 But as I scrolled down to comment, I caught your comment to Dale and so sorry your beautiful baby has been ill this week. I hope that she is well on the way to a full recovery, helped by some wonderful treats 🙂 Give her a big hug from me (and for you too of course ) ❤ 🙂 xxxx

    1. She’s well recovered today, thank you, Sherri. Still keeping her on chicken and rice for one more day, but we went for a lovely walk in the woods and she seemed full of energy. And I’ll give her a big hug from you, as she loves hugs — the more the better 🙂 xxxx

    1. Thank you, Andrea and Winston 🙂 She is very happy and well now, and insists that a daily tablespoonful of goat’s or sheep’s yoghurt is permanently on the menu now, rather than the temporary thing suggested by her vet!
