Stunning image, Sarah. Reminds me of that old 1950’s Eddie Calvert piece. ‘Cherry pink and apple blossom white’. He was a really great trumpet player. 🙂

Thank you, Christy. Oh yes, the blue backcloth is most important. Unfortunately, today it is grey backcloth, dispensing the occasional drizzle, but then cherry blossom with a light sprinkling of moisture looks quite pretty in a different way 🙂

I guess I’m located a bit further south than you. Also, my town is meant to have more hours of sunshine per year than the majority of the UK, although not convinced. I know there are lots of palm trees and other tropical niceties growing in our gardens!

My hair used to look like a bird’s nest when I wore it shorter and hadn’t discovered the taming qualities of a tiny smear of olive oil and lavender essence upon my “twigs”!
