    1. Thanks, Dale 🙂
I think the snow is a really nice touch on the part of WordPress. From what I remember, it’s just a December feature, then the snow is switched off again!

      1. So I figured as another blogger has it and was surprised (she realised that it comes on by itself once you’ve downloaded it once…) Fun stuff!

    1. No, I didn’t plant it but saw it hanging over somebody’s fence when I was out walking near the golf course (the same day as I took that photo of the lone crab apple featured in last week’s haiku). I love the taste of nutmeg, especially on custard tarts and on tapioca pudding. Yum 🙂

      1. I’m being a terribly inattentive fellow blogger this week, Sherri, as have had too, too, too many distractions. Will do a catch up of yours by Thursday at the latest, as today is proving hectic, too. I’ll look forward to your email 🙂

      2. No worries Sarah, I fully understand as I am with you on the distractions, one thing after the other. Hopefully you got my email late last night, and again, apologies for leaving it so last minute. Story of my life, ha…

      3. Thanks, Sherri 🙂 I’ll take a look at it shortly. Don’t worry about last minute. I’m the one who always submits writing competition entries right up against the deadline. That being said, I actually succeeded this week in emailing a first chapter, synopsis, and author bio to a publisher on the second day of a one-week open submission slot!

      4. Wow, well done Sarah…that’s great and I wish you every success with it 🙂 But I’m glad I’m not the only one who seems to run right up to the deadline 😉
