First glance, one rainbow.
Look closer, double your luck
with two pots of gold.

According to Irish mythology, there’s a pot of gold rainbow belonging to a leprechaun (fairy) at the end of each rainbow, although first you must catch the leprechaun to find the pot. But before you have a go, you best assess your chances of succeeding by clicking on this link
The good news is that, even if you don’t catch the elusive little blighter, rainbows are meant to bring you luck.
I’ve seen a double rainbow a few times, But never thought of trying to catch a leprechaun. I really wouldn’t know what to do with him. 😕

You’d have to watch your back, Sylvia, as they’re mischievous little fellows!

Lovely! And a pity I missed a chance this summer when saw a double rainbow – might have tried to catch at least one of leprechauns on the beach 🙂

Yes, on the beach that would be good as there wouldn’t be any trees to obscure your view. I wonder if leprechauns can swim!

Should check that next summer 😀

Rainbows are lucky. Hum . . . I’ve only saw one rainbow in my whole life. Maybe that’s why my luck is so bad. But I don’t think Leprechauns are causing havoc in my home. I enjoyed reading this.

That’s so sad. It seems in life that people with good hearts so often come under attack, while the devil takes care of his own.
Wishing you lots of good luck and happiness from now on.

It took a life time but I learned to find the happiness inside me. Thanks Sarah.

It’s only a myth then? When I stayed with my aunt in Ireland many years ago she told me to wake up at midnight and I’d see the leprechauns dancing outside. Next thing I always knew it was morning 😦

Such a missed opportunity, Roy!
As a child, I spent many hours at night, peering out from in front of my curtains to see if I could spot fairies in the hornbeam hedge in my garden. All I saw were glow worms, but that was exciting enough.
