    1. I think that Peter Pan was portrayed as less than “charming” in the original story that I read as a child — quite a dubious character really. When the Disney version came out, I thought it was twaddle, as I’d already made up my mind that anyone who abducted children without bothering about parents’ feelings was bad!

      Of course, if there had been a geisha and Pegasus in the story, I might have found some magic to delight me, within the darker contest of the whole.

      I’ve always thought too deeply about everything, which is often not such a good thing.
