For The Love Of Haiku

Heart pierced by a thorn:
drifting between life and death,
the flower fairy wilts.

All are welcome to join in with adollyciousirony’s weekly haiku fun at http://allaboutlemon.com/2013/01/19/for-the-love-of-haiku-19/.

Being primarily a fantasy author, I particularly loved penning a haiku to go with this image. My special thanks to the art game players for the drama they’ve injected into the sceneΒ  http://allaboutlemon.com/art-game/ag-w38-a-fairy/ Β

    1. Thanks πŸ™‚ Art is a wonderful inspiration. I have an amazing book full of fairy illustrations (some of them quite scary) and my son has book of incredibly gross monsters as a fantasy role playing source book. Plenty of writing inspiration in our extensive home library as well as on-line, I think.

  1. As always slightly peculiar. I love them. My phone doesn’t show me the picture until I go to the site. I always imagine what it might be like but it is never the same.
