Music Passion

Inspired by this month’s music passion for flowers, I’d like to share the Italian Renaissance song Vidi hor cogliendo roseΒ  (translation: I saw her picking roses) by that most prolific “composer” of all time, anonymous πŸ˜‰ It is sung here by Anna De Martini, accompanied by lutenist, Marco Pesci.

Check out to hear some other floral music, and possibly contribute a song choice of your own.

Many thanks to Katrina, who chose the theme for this month, having received the highest number of votes/likes for her May lunar contribution Moon Shadow, and please do pay her blog a visit.

  6. Love all things medieval, especially the artwork in the video.

    • I love all things medieval, too, except the lack of anaesthetics, antibiotics, famine, fuel shortage, and plague;-) But the art, music, and absence of white noise does appeal.

I’ve written a medieval-style sword and sorcery fantasy novel, but there aren’t many publishers of this sub-genre just now, so it’s lurking in a drawer, waiting for a resurgence of interest.
